UX Designer, Lifelong Creative, Lover of Vintage & Thrifted Clothing <3
I'm a senior at the University of Washington studying Informatics with a focus on Human Computer Interaction.
I currently work as a User Experience Design Intern at UW Information Technology. As a part of the Student Educational Technology and Services Team, I look for ways to improve the student experience. Since I'm also a student, I get to be both designer and user!
I have also worked at the Q Center (LGBTQ+ Resource Center) for 3 years as the Web and Operations Coordinator.
Currently looking for post-graduation full-time roles in UX/UI Design or Product Design! Feel free to reach out at nhutat@uw.edu anytime to connect.
Welcome to my playground!
Why UX design?
In this era of rapidly evolving technology, it is vital to use technology, data, and design for social good. I'm passionate about centering access, liberation, and joy in my work as a designer.
I have loved all things art and design since I was a kid. When I was 13, I taught myself how to use Blender and Photoshop with YouTube tutorials so that I could make Minecraft graphics.
In my free time, I enjoy drawing, painting, and exploring new art mediums. I love to think outside the box to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing designs.
This led me to User Experience Design because it intersects my interests in digital tools, visual design, and human-centered thinking.
